LOS ANGELES—To celebrate Halestorm‘s debut graphic novel with Z2 Comics, HALESTORM: Hyde Manor, GRAMMY Award-winning Halestorm songwriter and vocalist Lzzy Hale has announced a limited edition release of her new Gibson Lzzy Hale Signature Explorerbird guitar. The guitars, limited to three in existence, feature Alison Sampson’s cover art hand painted by Ron Williams of Ronzworld Guitars. The guitars will come in color variants of white, gold, and red.
Called “one of the most charismatic, powerful, and captivating vocalists of our time,” by Revolver, Lzzy Hale is Gibson’s first female ambassador and recently released her fourth guitar collaboration with the brand, the new Gibson ‘Lzzy Hale Explorerbird’. Lzzy’s Explorerbird signature guitar is a stylish mash-up featuring an Explorer body, neck, and a Firebird headstock—the first guitar of its kind.
Each guitar is featured in a $4,999.99 Platinum Edition of HALESTORM: Hyde Manor. The purchaser is guaranteed a VIP pass to a Halestorm concert where Lzzy will sign the guitar.
Arriving this Halloween, the HALESTORM: Hyde Manor graphic novel is written by Brittany and Brianna Winner (the Twin Soul series) with art from Sara Scalia. The graphic novel weaves the tale of the celebrated group as they seek refuge in the titular Hyde Manor—a sprawling gothic estate perched on the remote end of the Oregon Coast.
Last month, Halestorm released Back From The Dead, their fifth studio album, which has spawned a pair of consecutive #1 rock singles—the title track and most recently, “The Steeple.” Produced by Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Mastodon, Alice in Chains) with co-production by Scott Stevens (Shinedown, Daughtry, New Years Day), Back From The Dead, according to Lzzy, “is a journey of navigating mental health, debauchery, survival, redemption, rediscovery, and still maintaining faith in humanity.” The album debuted in the top 5 on the Rock and Hard Rock Album Charts.
