WWE REQUIRED TO MEET PEACOCK STANDARDS & PRACTICES ON NEW NETWORK

Some racist moments from WWE history have been removed by Peacock after WWE Network transitioned over to the NBCUniversal streaming service. All 17,000 hours of WWE content is being reviewed by Peacock to make sure any racist or controversial moments are removed, to better align with the Peacock Network’s standards and practices. WWE has agreed to the removal of its content as part of the agreement with Peacock.

Among the removed items are Rowdy Roddy Piper in black face (actually only half of his face was painted black) and Vince McMahon say the N-word.
