On tonight’s edition of WWE Backstage, WWE has confirmed the signing of former Intercontinental Champion John Morrison.
On top of the Intercontinental Championship, Morrison was also a multi time tag team champion and former ECW champion. He originally left the company in 2011. Outside of WWE he held numerous championships in companies that include Impact, Lucha Underground, and AAA in Mexico.
News of Morrison’s signing was first broken by Mike Johnson of PW Insider back on 9/26. However, the signing was first denied by John Morrison and no comment came from WWE. While the signing was announced on WWE Backstage, terms of the signing have not been disclosed.
