British wrestling promotion World of Sport is looking at a relaunch, the consortium behind the brand has reached out to Nick Aldis and Mickie James about a planned revival.
World of Sport has several options for the relaunch, one approach is an NWA model consisting of low-cost free-to-air studio wrestling shows, alongside live events.
World of Sport reached out to former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Nick Aldis to gauge his interest in being involved. Aldis is set to officially become a free agent in January 2023 following the expiration of his NWA contract. Aldis’ wife Mickie James is also interested in being part of the relaunch.
