The WIRED Café is back at Comic-Con. This year, WIRED is joining forces with GQ and Pitchfork for the 11th year of the exclusive rooftop oasis, which includes a VIP lounge and consumer activation. The WIRED Café is located on the terrace of the Omni San Diego Hotel.
Editors from WIRED and GQ will host live shows on Facebook, Periscope, and Instagram. Guests at the invite-only event will experience interactive sponsor activations, complimentary cocktails, and a slate of stellar DJ’s curated by Pitchfork. The weekend’s musical talent, presented by Pitchfork, features a DJ lineup headlined and curated by DJ Zach Tetreault of Hundred Waters.
WIRED Café’s presenting sponsorAT&T Audience Network will have an onsite activation centered around the second season of the hit show Mr. Mercedes including an interactive content wall with games, videos, and a listening station.
New Belgium Brewing’s Voodoo Ranger IPA, the official beer of this year’s WIRED Cafe, will also feature an activation onsite. In addition to free beer for attendees, there will be an interactive digital Voodoo Ranger comic book reading experience and special photo moment with a life-size Voodoo Ranger.
Many expected guests are a who’s who from televison and mmovies. The event is invite only and runs Thursday through Saturday of Comic-Con.
