The number one digital comic platform Webtoon is set to host a series of events featuring some of the most popular Webtoon creators this coming week during HeroesCon at Charlotte Convention Center starting Friday, June 15th through Sunday, June 17th. The activations will promote hit webcomic titles on Webtoon with signings and panels including the creators of 1000, Assassin Roommate, Bluechair, Darbi, Let’s Play, Siren’s Lament, and more.
The attraction will be located at booth space 2200 between the exhibitor floor and Artist Alley – offering fans an opportunity to experience their favorite Webtoon titles in unprecedented ways.
Webtoon Booth
- Webtoon will host artist signings within the booth throughout the weekend featuring Sanford Greene & Chuck Brown (1000), Monica Gallagher (Assassin Roommate), Shen (Bluechair), Mongie (Let’s Play), and instantmiso (Siren’s Lament)
- Interactive, social-enabled photo booth where fans can place themselves among their favorite characters for Darbi, I Love Yoo, My Giant Nerd Boyfriend, Siren’s Lament, and unOrdinary
- Exclusive convention giveaways for fans including limited-edition Webtoon skate decks, tote bags, t-shirts, blind bags, popsockets, pins, temporary tattoos, and artist posters
- Up-and-coming artists can showcase and receive advice on their work through portfolio review sessions from senior content editors, Tom Akel and David Shinok Lee, as well as guest reviewers and Webtoon featured creators, Monica Gallagher (Assassin Roommate), Shen (Bluechair), Mongie (Let’s Play), and Sherard Jackson (Darbi)

o Description: Renowned illustrator Sanford Greene has worked for Marvel, DC, Image Comics, Dark Horse, Boom! Studios, Lion Forge, Archie, Disney, SEGA, Nickelodeon, Fox, Hasbro, Warner Brothers, and Webtoon, and is an Adjunct Professor of Art at Benedict College in Columbia, SC. His current projects include 1000, currently publishing at Webtoon, and the upcoming Bitter Root with David Walker and Chuck Brown at Image. Sanford recently finished a critically acclaimed run on Power Man and Iron Fist for Marvel.
