TKO STUDIOS’ ‘SENTIENT’ NOMINATED FOR THE PRESTIGIOUS EISNER AWARD

Los Angeles, CA — TKO Studios is proud to announce its graphic novel SENTIENT has been nominated for the prestigious 2020 Eisner Awards in the Best Limited Series category. Presented each year at the San Diego Comic-Con, the Eisner Awards are the premier award in the comics and graphic novel industry.

Created by Eisner Award-winners Jeff Lemire (Black Hammer) and Gabriel Walta (The Vision), SENTIENT is the harrowing sci-fi story that takes place aboard a colony ship. Where a devastating attack leaves the children parentless, the onboard A.I. Valarie must parent the children and defend them from a danger tracking them through space.

SENTIENT’s Eisner nomination comes on the heels of rave reviews, including a 5-star rating from ComicBook.com, calling it a “taut sci-fi thriller that won’t let you set it down.”

“It was pure joy getting to work with Gabriel Walta, Steve Wands, and Jared K. Fletcher on the project, and it’s really quite flattering to be recognized in the same category as so many other wonderful comics,” said SENTIENT writer Jeff Lemire on his nomination. “I’m very proud of Sentient and the package that TKO put together.”
