Comments: The postcard style at the start is a cute touch before it switches to the regular style art for the main story.
You will be stunned at how this story starts off. This is definitely not your teen detective stories you have grown up with.
The atmosphere of this story is depressing. Frank and Joe accused of murder. Everything leading up to this is just sad as we see the Hardy’s friends and family have no loyalty or trust in them. You will not believe how depressing this is.
The art is lifeless. More detail in the faces is needed.
Having other teens from other book series show up was a interesting touch but it felt so out of place.
Frank and Joe are not all that close for brothers who were always inseparable.
The coloring on the letter boxes makes them hard to read whats in them.
Nancy Drew only appears briefly she is vague illustrated.
This comic is nothing at all like the books series or other comics that have been published about these characters. The story and the way they are handled does not fit them at all. They are great characters just not in this comic.
