Things From Another World to release limited Dark Horse apparel line

Exclusive release the first in a series of upcoming artist collaborations

PORTLAND, OR – April 9 – Things From Another World is excited to announce the first release in a line of limited-edition clothing; this initial offering will be available exclusively at Things From Another World stores and online at www.tfaw.com.

The release comes from a collaboration between Things From Another World, Dark Horse Comics, and the newly established Dark Horse China Office.

The companies’ respective creative teams were curious about each other’s styles and sensibilities and looking for an opportunity to learn about, and play in, unfamiliar sandboxes. Featuring both modern and explorative takes on the iconic Dark Horse logo, the nine pieces in the collection explore what it is to be a dark horse.

“As many know, from the beginning at Dark Horse Comics our focus was on working with creators as equal partners,” said Mike Richardson, President and Founder of Dark Horse Comics and Things From Another World.

“This line is our first step in exploring similar opportunities to once again partner with artists, this time on the retail side, and we’re excited to see where it takes us and our creative partners. The opening of our Dark Horse China Office in Shanghai and its access to designers across Asia, as well as its creative and quality capabilities, enable us to lift the product offering at Things From Another World to a whole new level.”

While this initial launch focuses on apparel, Things From Another World is looking to collaborate with artists and creators from diverse backgrounds, on products of all types.

“This is an exciting time for TFAW,” said Andrew McIntire, Vice President of Retail and General Manager of Things From Another World. “We’re reaching back to the brand’s roots, and playing in the space where comic fandom intersects modern culture. It makes total sense for us to start this journey with The Dark Horse Experiment, but we have more plans and products in the works with unique visionaries from all over the world. We hope you’ll be as excited by them when you see them, as we are.”

A full reveal and limited pre-orders of the first apparel line will be available tomorrow at 10AM Pacific, at www.tfaw.com/exclusivethings.
