The Mighty KAAW is back!
After the successful Kickstarter campaigns for KAAW 1 and KAAW 2! FishTales! & T-Man Remastered!, we’re back for the action packed 3rd and 4th issues of the Mighty KAAW as he slaughters his way across the galaxy and ends up on the not-so-deserted Lost Planet and comes face to face with The Warrior KESS, daughter of the Clan Black Bear! Each book is packed with 16 full color pulse-pounding pages, puzzles, and fan art!
The story picks up right where Issue 2 left off… and all four issues and the Savage Source Book are now available! Check out some of these awesome pages from the books, all of which were written and illustrated by the creator, Mr Fish Lee of Mr Fish Comics, with color flatting by Hannah Shayne Cui.
The Mighty KAAW comes from the avian world of Zion, where the Crowmagnons are kept as slaves by the cyberneticly enhanced Angelic Council. The first two issues show his rise to stardom as a warrior slave in the Battle Arena, and his accidental rise to leader of a slave rebellion! When the Angelic armies couldn’t stop him, they offered a king’s ransom to anyone that could capture KAAW and get him off world – a bounty so high the Skeetian space Pirates couldn’t resist! These space slave traders managed to capture him alright…but what do you do when you have lightning in a bottle?! KAAW breaks free and slaughters the ship’s crew, destroying the Hyper-drive along the way, and crashing the ship on a Lost world in the outer reaches of space!
Issue 3 picks up just before the crash, and we find this world isn’t QUITE as uninhabited as the star charts would have you believe. His arrival is witnessed by the ruler of this Lost World of Omega Terra, and KAAW quickly comes face to face with the indomitable warrior KESS, daughter of the clan Black Bear! This beautiful brute proves to be more than a match for the savage from beyond the stars.
Issue 4 follows their fiery first encounter with them besieged by serpent soldiers! Will these two headstrong heavyweights be able to put their feelings aside and work together? Or will they fall to the blades of the sinister serpent men?!
