Among the topics covered are the research she puts into her writing, her love of reading and libraries, how she writes villains, having characters laugh and the different types of humor, what character was hardest to connect with to write, exploring different family dynamics and their relationships, the common theme of Plagues in her work, writing about trauma, her changes to Wonder Woman and Black Canary, working on Jessica Jones, her theatre background, toxic fandom, having female characters being friends with each other, the word getting more evil/awful and her recent work on a local project out of Ottawa.
