Canon: What belongs in Comics Canon
Panelists were Jennie Law, Craig Fischer, Michael Kobre, Andy Kunka and Dan Yezbick. They started off what they meant by canon. The group discussed books they would add to the comics canon, issues with availability and the costs for students, various comics databases, what – as fans – do they enjoy and is their personal canon, what books should be available but aren’t, what scholarly books about comics they recommend, using single issues and short stories for scholarship and recent books they add to the canon.
