Powerhouse Crowdfunding Comics Creators Team Up for New Series
Phoenix, AZ – July 26, 2024 – Comic book creators and long-time friends Jimmy Palmiotti, Brian Pulido, Billy Tucci, and Amanda Conner have teamed up to create THE DEADLY TRIO, an all-new series set to debut on Kickstarter November 20, 2024.
In this deep space misadventure, the evil warlord Kalissa Gore and her vast armies are unstoppable. And yet, there is a DEADLY TRIO who dares the impossible: DORIAN, a planet-hopping mechanic; REANN-REANN, a fighter pilot with unmatched skills; and GARGA, the cult leader sister of Kalissa Gore herself ! Can THE DEADLY TRIO overcome insurmountable odds (and each other) or is the universe doomed to extinction?
The twenty-four page first issue, jointly published by Paperfilms, Coffin Comics, and Crusade Comics, is illustrated by Adrianna Melo (Birds of Prey), colored by Giuliano Peratelli (La Muerta), with logo and lettering by Marshall Dillon (Lady Death).
“THE DEADLY TRIO has brand-new exciting characters, epic world-building, and stunning artwork and storytelling,” says co-creator Jimmy Palmiotti. “The creators live and breathe comic books every single day and have learned that if the world isn’t making the books we want to read, then it’s our job to create them.”
