THE BATTLE BETWEEN GOOD & EVIL ESCALATES IN IMAGE/GHOST MACHINE’S HORNSBY & HALO SERIES LAUNCHING THIS NOVEMBER

PORTLAND, Ore. 08/21/2024 — From the minds of Ghost Machine creators Peter J. Tomasi (Batman and Robin, Super Sons) and Peter Snejbjerg (Starman, B.P.R.D.) comes an epic tale of Good vs. Evil in the upcoming, Hornsby & Halo, set in Ghost Machine’s Family Odysseys universe. This all-new, eagerly awaited ongoing series is set to launch in November from Image Comics.

Keeping the cosmic peace isn’t easy. But in Hornsby & Halo, the opposing leaders of Heaven and Hell broker a deal that trades Zachary Halo, an angel child, to a demon family, and Rose Hornsby, a demon child, to an angel family, and hope this truce will halt the winds of war. It’s Nature versus Nurture as the turbulence of adolescence comes crashing down on two teenagers who have no idea just who and what they truly are…yet.

“Is it possible for someone to have too much fun? Well, I may just be that person because working with the amazing Peter Snejbjerg on our new series Hornsby & Halo here at Ghost Machine is a blast of insane proportions,” said Tomasi. “Along with family dynamics, we’re also dealing with another one of my favorite themes which is Nature versus Nuture as we follow Zachary and Rose, two teenagers living in Warwick, New York, as they learn they’re from Heaven and Hell and have been chosen to keep the peace in their respective celestial realms but still have to get to class on time! Let’s just say nothing goes the way you’d expect as family and friendships are pushed to the limits of insanity, hilarity and heartfelt clashes.”

Snejbjerg added: “It is an insane pleasure to wake up every morning and discover that, no, I didn’t dream it: I am actually working with my favorite comic book writer, Peter Tomasi, illustrating the adventures of Rose Hornsby and Zachary Halo, two on the surface quite normal teenagers who wake up one day to find that they have the balance of the war between Heaven and Hell resting on their narrow adolescent shoulders. It’s a fun, energetic and warm hearted story about friendship, family and having to reconcile your school life with being a supernatural entity at the centre of cosmic conspiracies!”
