TALES OF THE GODAI
Since the beginning of time the five elements of the Godai have been protecting the people from the evils in the world. These elemental powers are handed down generation to generation in five selected bloodlines that have proven themselves worthy to wield the powers eons ago. The appearance of the Godai is a sign that something sinister and evil , the YOKAI, are emerging and gaining a foothold in the world. The vessels of the Godai are born with the birthmark of the elemental power that they will wield and are trained from birth to have the moral character and stamina to do so, for it is their destiny. Join the adventures of Kitsune, Tsuchi, Kiyoshi, Kaze, and Ku Sora as they attend the Koyasa Monastery, where they learn to cope with their newly emerging powers and their new responsibilities to protect the world, as well as the problems they encounter in their daily lives. At the monastery, Sensei Botan Sazama and Sensei Hiruto Wantanabe are secretly members of the sect, the “Protectors of the Godai”. For centuries their family bloodlines have secretly trained the Godai in their use of their powers so that they can fulfill their destiny and protect the world.
