Storm King and SCB to Build on More than 10 Years of Success in Horror,
Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Kids’ Titles With New Distribution Relationship
HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (March 10, 2025) – New and catalog comic books and graphic novels from the acclaimed independent publisher Storm King Comics will be distributed in the United States and in global English-language markets by SCB Distributors, both companies announced today.
The new relationship between Storm King Comics and SCB follows Storm King’s long relationship with Diamond Comics, and beginning immediately book and comic retailers can turn to SCB Distributors to order new titles from Storm King Comics, as well as titles from its extensive catalog of horror, science fiction, fantasy and kids’ titles from some of the most well-known and acclaimed comics writers, artists and creators.

The flagship comic book title from Storm King Comics, John Carpenter’s Asylum, has become a global fan favorite. Following its success, Storm King has added to its lineup with the award-winning annual anthology, John Carpenter’s Tales for a HalloweeNight, and the monthly anthology series, John Carpenter’s Tales of Science Fiction. More recent additions to the Storm King brand are Storm King Comics Dark & Twisted, John Carpenter’s Night Terrors, and John Carpenter Presents Storm Kids, introducing horror and sci-fi to younger audiences.
Currently, John Carpenter’s Tales of Science Fiction—PAUSE, written by Matthew K. Manning and illustrated by Conor Boyle, is new to comics stores, with the first of a six-issue series just debuted on February 26, followed by issue #2 on March 26. The full series of PAUSE — which will issue one title a month through July — continues be distributed by Diamond Comics. Storm King Comics also recently expanded its Storm Kids imprint with THE GHOST WHISKERERS, written and illustrated by Thomas F. Zahler.
On May 20, the legacies of two legendary horror filmmakers come together when Storm King Comics releases John Carpenter Presents George A. Romero’s THE AMUSEMENT PARK. Fans can pre-order this much-anticipated graphic novel through local comic shops or booksellers, or online.
