Melissa Navia, Anson Mount, Rachel Leigh Cook, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, and More Set to Join Star-Studded Roster of Guests at Convention on October 6-9
NORWALK, CT – August 25, 2022 – ReedPop, the world’s leading producer of pop culture events, today announced a new wave of buzzworthy guests for this year’s New York Comic Con. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stars Melissa Navia and Anson Mount will joinShe’s All That co-stars Rachel Leigh Cook and the previously announced Freddie Prinze Jr. as the latest celebrity guests. In addition, comic guests Ivan Reis (Detective Comics,Blackest Night, Superman), Toma Vagner (Harry Styles, Google,Disorder Series), Darryl “DMC” McDaniels (DMC Makes Comics) and Cat Staggs (Wonder Woman, John Carpenter’s Tales for a Halloween Night) have joined the lineup.
Melissa Navia, Anson Mount, and Rachel Leigh Cook are the latest celebrity guests joining the NYCC 2022 lineup, where they will participate in panels, photo ops, and autograph sessions from October 6-9. Comic guests Ivan Reis, Toma Vagner, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, and Cat Staggs will also attend all four days of the show in Artist Alley. In addition, notable creators Alyssa Wong (Doctor Aphra, Iron Fist), Amanda Conner (Harley Quinn, Power Girl), Dan Mora (World’s Finest, Detective Comics), InHyuk Lee (Batman, Alien), Marc Silvestri (X-Men, Witchblade), Mariko Tamaki (Detective Comics, Thor and Loki: Double Trouble), Peach Momoko (Demon Wars, Demon Days), Ryan Stegman (Venom, Absolute Carnage) will also be in attendance.
Each year, NYCC brings together the biggest names in pop culture, the world’s top comic creators, and thousands of fans to celebrate the fandoms they love. This year’s guest announcements are just getting started, with previously announced guests including Oscar Isaac, star of Marvel’s Moon Knight, Star Wars, and Dune, literary greats Brandon Sanderson, Diana Gabaldon, R. L. Stine and Leigh Bardugo, comic legends Frank Miller, Greg Capullo and Frank Cho, and celebrity stars Freddy Carter, Amita Suman, Kit Young from Shadow and Bone,Freddie Prinze Jr. (She’s All That, Star Wars Rebels), and SpongeBob SquarePants’ Tom Kenny and Rodger Bumpass.
Tickets are now on sale to the general public for New York Comic Con 2022.
