The Futurist People’s Publicist Celebrates 25 Years
(Aug 1, 2024- Chicago IL) Sphinx PR started as Sphinx Group and officially opened its doors on August 1, 2000. For 25 years, Lys Fulda has provided a spectrum of public relations services including branding, social media, and marketing options. Her goal was simple. Professional support for creative endeavors deserved assistance regardless of budget. Fulda started in the hobby gaming market, branched out to all of pop culture, and recently expanded her reach to the mainstream. What began as basic press outreach has evolved into including Kickstarter support, nationwide programming, and events including genre festivals. A new expansion of services can be found at www.sphinxprcom. In the coming year, Sphinx will be launching their first official batch of virtual after-parties to continue the conversations started at San Diego Comic-Con 2024.
Fulda commented “I have seen so much. The top-tier publishers leaving DIamond, the Penguin Random House merger, and Dungeons and Dragons became a household brand. Augmented reality is becoming a contender. AI is now part of our daily life. Technology and the way we communicate and connect is more important than ever. Growing brands and communities through public interaction is about adapting and growing with changes not fighting against it.”
Highlights from the past 25 years:
-Programming topics have included:
Women and the Future of Gaming, Showcasing Women in Media, Asian Americans Built The Comics Industry, The New Face Of Jewish Comics, and More.
-Establishing Library Distribution for multiple clients including getting the first 5e publisher AAW Games Into Hoopla Distribution
-Kickstarter support in the Shadowdark campaign that grossed over a million dollars
-Global coverage of multiple launches within 24 hours
-Helping countless creators, writers, designers, and events get the spotlight they deserve.
