Source Point Press drags Dinopunk throughout history in Roarin’ 20’s

Dinosaurs are borne forward ceaselessly into the Roarin’ 20’s in the latest one-shot from Source Point Press, available for pre-order now and in shops Dec. 30.

“Roarin’ 20’s: The World’s Fair is the comic we need right now. This action-packed science fiction one-shot is a lot of fun, and a great escape to a glorious decade, utilized in a way we’ve never seen before,” says SPP Chief Creative Officer Joshua Werner.

When a malfunctioning time machine lands dinosaurs in the year 1920, the Jazz Age gets prehistoric in this introduction to a whole new dinopunk history!

“One of the great things about this is that the 1920’s are already rich with history, so we get to put dinosaurs in there and play with alterations and visuals. What happens if dinosaurs encounter flappers? A flagpole sitter can hand feed a brachiosaur. The possibilities are pretty enormous,” says Writer Josh Sobek.

Written by Josh Sobek with art from Chris Hamann, Gary Sobek, and Milena Deneno, Roarin’ 20’s: World’s Fair is only the first in a series of one-shots to see the Jurassic juggernauts plow through the decade.

“The art team did a fantastic job bringing life to the characters and creatures that World’s Fair is establishing. Characters that we’ll follow across the decade with plenty of side stories, all aiming to show off unique dinosaurs involved in key aspects of that time,” says Sobek.

Source Point Press is a division of Ox Eye Media, publishing books, comics, and graphic novels. Roarin’ 20’s: World’s Fair is available to pre-order now and will be released Wednesday, Dec. 30.
