Skybound Tabletop Announces Licensing Partnership for Creepshow: The Suspense Building Game with Cartel Entertainment, Greg Nicotero’s Monster Agency Productions

This deal is the latest in a string of Skybound IP getting the “Wheel of Awesome” treatment.

Los Angeles, CA; August 8, 2024 – Skybound Tabletop, a division of Skybound Entertainment, known for its blockbuster social party and light strategy games like Boo-ty Call, Trial by Trolley, Invincible: Escape from Mars, and more, today announced its licensing deal to launch a party game based on Creepshow. Releasing this fall, Creepshow: The Suspense Building Game, is based on the Eisner-award nominated comic book anthology from Skybound, which was originally inspired by Greg Nicotero’s hit Shudder TV series produced and licensed by Cartel Entertainment. The deal was brokered by Striker Entertainment.

Brian Witten is overseeing on behalf of Nicotero’s Monster Agency Productions.

The “Wheel of Awesome”

The news comes just weeks after announcing several major licensing deals for two of Skybound’s tentpole IPs The Walking Dead and Invincible and is an indication of Skybound’s ability transform its IP from a TV show, video game, tabletop game, collectible, podcast, or all of the above, into exciting, must-have entertainment.

Now this fall, tabletop fans and Creepshowreaders alike will be able to experience the IP in a whole new way by becoming a creep themselves, where the creepiest gameplay strategy wins…or does it?
