Tickets for those returning to Comic-Con 2020 in San Diego this coming July have sold out. The online sale began just after 9:00am Pacific Time on Saturday and sold out in just under an hour. Comic-Con International posted the following at 9:59 am:
“Preview Night” badges were the first to be sold out, followed by Saturday, Friday, Sunday, and then Thursday not too long after. The returning registration sale is one of the hurdles for many con goers on their way to San Diego.
Stories are widespread about potential attendees grouping up to buy tickets, opening multiple computers, and even making friends with strangers in online groups to punch their ticket to SDCC. Open registration for all potential attendees will happen at a later date to be announced, followed by the “hotel lottery.”
San Diego Comic-Con 2020 will take place July 22-26 2020 at the San Diego Convention Center.
