Amid much speculation over the weekend, Roman Reigns made his return to Monday Night Raw for a special announcement.
After having to relinquish the WWE Universal Title due to his Leukemia diagnosis last October, Reigns announced to the crowd that his Leukemia is now in remission. He called his treatment a “home run.” Reigns also thanked everyone for their outpouring of support.
He also said that his battle gave him “a new purpose.” That purpose is to use his platform to help raise awareness and support for those who are in battles similar to his own.
WWE has also released a special shirt to commemorate his return and fight. It is available in their WWE Shop online.
