Fan and Pro Nomination Ballot Deadline Approaching
Fan and pro-jury voting will close on June 20, 2019. Nominations are tallied independently, and the combined nomination ballot is compiled by the Ringo Awards Committee. Ties may result in more than five nominees in a single category. Nominees will be listed on the ballot alphabetically.

Nomination Eligibility
Eligibility for creators and creative works is determined by publication in the preceding calendar year – print publication date takes precedence over electronic publication date. “Voters have come out in force again this year,” said Marc Nathan, Baltimore Comic-Con promoter. “In our third year now, the fans, pros, and publishers seem to have the process down pat — you submit your nomination ballot, you let your social networks know you voted, you encourage your friends to vote, and if you’re a creator or publisher, you lobby for voters to nominate your work. We’ve seen some great graphics posted by comics creators encouraging voters to nominate their works. The jury review submissions from publishers was fantastic, and our jurors are now reading through their stacks of comics and graphic novels. This year’s final ballot should be another great one, making for a tough challenge (in a good way!) for eligible voters to make their selections once the slate is announced.”
