Comments: The introduction does explain what is going on. Zed is a leftover experiment from the scientist who discovered a way to stop the plague. Now Zed and his friend Bill just want to find Sam the scientist.
Sam stopped the zombie plague from continuing. Now Zed is not too pleased that he was used. It actually was in a good cause.
The black and white art is done with soft tones of grey. Thee faces have wonderfully drawn expressions.
This first issue does set the scene for the story and introduces you to the two main characters. The story though is slow moving.
Zed is presented as a nice guy or zombie. He comes across as your average joe and you will be able to sympathize with him. Zed is a great guy just in a situation he did not want.
