The art style is cartoonie with a fun fresh look at the characters. Thatch is a cute and feisty girl, Bandit is the chef and Leo makes up the group here.
The three kids while breaking and stealing find a monster. She has a unique look. Zawa the last guardian is a scary sight. She does and will protect the land.
This issue mainly introduces the main characters. Thatch and Zawa so far come across as great characters that are entertaining to see. We need to know more about what is happening in this city and why things are the way they are.
Why is Zawa there? What is she supposed to protect this city from?
There are shortages of food in this place. Plus the city seems rundown. Things are not maintained the way they should be. The Mayor sounds like he is not doing his job. So there is drama here. The Mayor is not shown yet the way people talk about him you know what he is like.
