“Chapter 1 Seeking The King!”
It’s Tiger vs Lion. These two beasts are furious savage beasts of prey. They are each at the top of their food chains.
The X-Venture Xplorers are made up of a team of eight. Louis and Jake get into an argument over whether the tiger or lion is the best. Two teams go out to prove they are right by studying the lion and tiger in its natural habituate. We are given a lot of facts about a tiger here. Yes, you will learn and it is done in a fun way with gorgeous drawings.
“Chapter 2 The Beast Whisperer”
The adult tiger shown here is one big savage beast. Team Tiger picks up Tazen he can talk to animals. The Sumatra Tiger is the smallest in the world and the Siberian Tiger the largest.
The kids on these adventures are cute and have fun. They are illustrated with over the top expressions.
“Chapter 3 Lying Low with Lions”
Lions are majestic beasts and the art clearly shows that. One explorer gets up very close and personal with a lion pride. There are other big cats shown as well. You will see and learn so much and you will have fun doing it.
“Chapter 4 Trailed and Trapped!” Here you see just how terrible violent a Siberian Tiger is. You see the fear it inspires in its prey. Our explorers run across an illegal poaching operation.
“Chapter 5 The Animals Strike Back!” One Siberian Tiger meets two leopards in battle. The children explorers do take charge of the situation and they do what is right even if it is dangerous.
“Chapter 6 A Matter of Pride” Here we see the full unbridled rage of two lions going head to head for rulership of the Pride.
In between each chapter you will learn wonderful facts about different big cats. The art accompanying the facts is of such realistic quality it is amazing to see.
“Chapter 7 Ready To Rumble!” Dr. Darwin does a computer-simulated faceoff with data gathered to see who would win a lion or a tiger in a fight. Here we see both predators moving in on each other. Who will survive this meeting between two of nature’s most fearsome killers?
“Chapter 8 The Final Showdown” Here we see which of these two powerful predators would survive this fight to the death.
The final pin-up of these two beasts engaged in combat is a masterpiece.
