Comments: Eric finds himself in battle with a powerful robot. Eric and his armor Shanhara like to carry on a conversation while they are in a fight. Eric finally does the thing he needed to win this battle he fights.
Troy Whitaker is a rich businessman and he has a plan that includes Eric and the X-O Manowar suit.
This comic is so toned down in comparison to the series before. Eric acts unsure and needs Shanhara to guide him here. For a powerful superhero, he sure seems weak. Eric goes to Whitaker to find out what he should do.
Eric needs to be more assertive, aggressive, and forward. He needs to think for himself and act. This passive unsure version does not work.
The art could be much better to show off the armor of Eric’s. You can tell it is there but that is about it. Eric is no longer the great warrior Visigoth he is just a man. He has the most powerful weapon yet he only uses it to fly or as a defense. Then having him bend his knee to Whitaker is just pitiful to see. This is not the X-O Manowar who should be. This is a cheap flawed imitation at best.
