Comments: The Duke of Wellington has a very atmospheric mansion. The art therein is spooky and scary and will leave you feeling like it is going to jump out and grab you. Some of the paintings are downright disturbing.
The Victorian setting is well done.
Joseph Drew is a journalist. Now there is an air of mystery as he approaches Author Wellington. Arthur is relating his story to a story of evil.
Arthur has a strange murder to investigate. Things are spooky and they turn dangerous too. The wolf is illustrated so beautifully to give it an evil look. This creature is not normal. It would give one nightmares.
The story here does build up suspense and a feeling of dread.
Arthur Wellington is a sturdy man who knows what he is doing. He comes across as a professional. What is his profession? Helping friends in need?
Now the mysterious woman who shows up is a strange one. This comic does present a mystery or two and suspense that will draw you back for more.
