Selene is being bullied at school. Sophie, Selene, and Michelle are friends and they hang out. Now we see Selene has anger issues but looking at her life it is easy to understand why.
The three girls do talk about how their periods bind them. Like its magical.
The artwork is perfect for this story it illustrates these teens as your average ordinary kids.
There is a bully from school and he is one mean boy. You will hate him immediately. Selene stands up to him and of course that makes him hate her even more.
Michelle contacts Sophie in the present day to tell her about Selene. It makes you wonder what happened with Selene from her school days till the present. What of Michelle as well? Sophie, we know she left town. She became a success. What happened in between. The story does get you involved and interested to know what happened with Selene.
