Comments: A party turns nasty real fast. Veronica crashes it to save Cheryl and the other guests. Veronica though looks different, maybe it’s the fangs and claws.
The art is flat and passionless for the most part. The illustrations of Veronica as a vampire those does capture her evil side. Even though she is not all that evil or bad.
The story shows us in lots of detail the events leading up to Veronica’s transformation. Most of the issue is about this before she turns. So there is some build up and also Reggie may be joining her.
The original vampire seems tame. He hardly comes across as a threat until he attacks and between attacks.
The issue just lacks being able to pull you in and thrill you as a horror vampire story should. Veronica in full vampire mode does fit the role.
