Comments: Chicago 1931 and Clio Dunne is moving there. she is from a time traveling family and can time travel herself. Now how she can time travel and her family as well is not explained. It is up to you to guess. Or go and read the books from Rysa Walker.
Clio is shown expressing happiness and the illustrations do bring it out and her period dress style is wonderful to see. The wording is nicely done as well to bring out that feeling of joy.
We get to see a part of history here. Al Capone’s trial.
The background art in the courtroom is without much detail. The same goes for the people in the background there. The coloring is done dark which does set the mood.
Clio is drawn with some nice big beautiful eyes that are expressive.
Now Clio is forced off on an adventure. Why though? What is the reason? There are no explanations given. Knowing more about her, her family, her enemy. All these would help to get you more interested in what is happening.
Clio is one cute girl with a mysterious side.
