Comments: People do want to live forever and Angel finds herself in the middle of it all.
The story starts off slow and then all hell breaks loose. There is lots of action. Angel and Duncan do end up being chased by one horrific creature of evil. It is drawn as something ancient and that could have crawled up out of your nightmare.
The story does flow just like a movie made by Hammer Horror films from the time period. You can feel the ancient stirrings within these pages. A little more focus in the story would be better, though. It could be made clearer what is happening and who everyone is.
The relationship between Angel and Nebetah is not explored here as much as it should be. These two are the main characters and should be the focus. Angel is a wonderful girl who just found herself in a situation beyond her control. Beyond anyone’s control as evil ancient musty forces rise.
