Comments: Kaaw is a gladiator on the planet Zion. The art is dynamic and impactful.
The story jumps ahead and does not show a lot of what happens. Kaaw though finds himself in outer space a prisoner on a slave ship. He is shackled and imprisoned in an impenetrable cage. Yet he still tries. His breaking out of the impenetrable tank is not shown. It would have been nice to see.
Kaaw is unstoppable in a fight. The scenes show the aftermath but not the actual event as he attacks. It would be much better to see the whole scene unfold. The story and art here rush through things. When a hit is shown you can feel and see the power Kaaw has.
The First Mate Phenrich has a plan to stop Kaaw. Will it work, will it even pose a threat to Kaaw? The Hell Hounds are loose.
This issue needed to be explained more. We needed to know more about Kaaw and about those after him. We are told the very basics only.
The art looks great and what it does show is done well.
The character of Kaaw other than he is a fighter we do not get into at all. Yes, he is a hard fighter who does not quit. Kaaw will bow down to no one.
