Comments: Steve and Silas are within a huge sprawling city and they entire a building where Silas is hooked up to a machine. Silas does seem excited about it. So the machine puts Silas in a reality game. Silas must battle a monster within the game and he needs to win.
Within this game, something unexpected happens and the game becomes more real. It is a mystery though what is happening. Steve is left to figure out what happened from the outside as Silas remains within the game or something else. The computer game is programmed to respond to each individual differently. This game is a mystery.
The black-and-white art is well done it shows the emotions of the characters. The City of Rivers has so much detail to it.
The characters of Steve and Silas it would be nice to get some background information about them. The brief description of this world is enough. The business that made the computer program we learn a little about but hopefully more in coming issues.
Steve and Silas come across as ordinary guys and both are likable characters. You will be rooting for their success.
