Comments: The cute art and the satirical way it starts off showing Sweet Beak will captivate you. Then we learn about the Gullfather.
Birdsy and Quack Quack are two seagulls, Birdsy is well respected and one upright bird while Quack Quack is his partner and one strong bird. One-Wing and Sammy are a couple of petty thieves. They are fun to watch in action and we see they do care about each other. Gullseppe and O’Gullahan these two are just two old birds sitting around. Nonnabird and Zeagull Seagull and so many more each one has its own unique personality.
Birdsy the Gullfather does act tough yet it is easy to see he cares about all those around him. He may think he runs everything but only if others let him. When he sees a threat to seagulls he goes into action to stop it.
One-wing is fun to watch as he gets a new wing which he enjoys as it does work well. He does miss having two wings.
So Birdsy worked hard to carry out his mission. The mission does seem to get forgotten about at the end. The characters are still interacting just they are not focused as much.
The characters presented here make for a fun enjoyable read and the art just adds to the fun.
