Comments: Jackie Estacado is shown as one cold-blooded killer. He is also a lady’s man. The girl he picks up is drawn in the smallest dress and showing off her assets.
Here we see the origin of Jackie becoming one with the Darkness. Jackie does work for the mob as an enforcer and he is good at his job. We see he has an arrogant attitude.
Angelicus warriors attack Jackie and he sets it free the Darkness comes out and it is a frightening thing. Jackie is also under attack from another mob boss.
The creatures in the dark are demonic-looking things that just reek of evil. You know these things will do anything Jackie asks. They have zero moral values, nothing is beyond them.
The Darkness and Jackie join together and he is an unstoppable force. Evil has a new face.
“Say Good Night to the Good Guy” written by Henry Barajas & Claire Napier. This is a nice look at the Darkness and Jackie Estacado and how he is an anti-hero. He is willing to do horrible things too horrible people. His control of the Darklings the demonic creatures that live in the Darkness he controls does give him a unique gift or curse.
The Darkness is its own being with Jackie taking the helm and steering it he makes it work for him. He is the ultimate anti-hero. A bad guy doing bad things to bad people and he does not care who gets in his way.
