Comments: Kate Marsden has had the creature take an interest in her. The scenes with her swimming as the creature watches are suspenseful. They have you wondering what is going to happen? It is great suspense building.
Doctor Thompson gets persuaded by Kate to help her so she will help him. She is after the serial killer Collier, and Kate will stop at nothing to get him.
Collier every time we see him it will just convince you he is totally insane. There is a bit of a twist in this issue one that may surprise a bit but does not really affect the story.
There is a nicely done build up of suspense here. You will be looking for the creature as you turn each page.
The way the creature is not the focus in the art works so well. Kate is the main character here. She is an interesting character one who is dominent. When she is confronted by something she did not expect though her reaction is fear.
This comic is just like watching a movie done in the old classic style of the Universal Monster movies.
With what Collier has done the next issue should prove to be thrilling fun excitement.
