Comments: This story starts out like so many others do. Pepperland is a lovely place and the art illustrating it is beautifully colored. Pepperland is a peaceful land filled with love and then the Blue Meanies arrive.
Fred and his yellow submarine are getting help and his first help are Ringo and John. The art does show them so you can easily recognize them. George is picked up next and then Paul.
The five Fred and the Beatles do go on a magical ride in a yellow submarine. The visuals are a strange and weird sort. The trip going back to Pepperland is filled with strange encounters.
There is a definite British feel to this comic and the humour in it.
Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band bring back music to Pepperland.
This is a fun adventure that at times is hard to follow yet it still manages to move along smoothly. The Beatles prove that music and love go hand in hand and they triumph over the Blue Meanies. The Blue Meanies learn a lesson that love is better than hate. Which makes the land a  better place for all.
If you loved the band and their music you will enjoy this book. It is a fun and strange time just waiting for you.
