Comments: Maddie helps look after her Grandma. Both of them are attached to a monster. They are somehow connected to the monsters.
Maddie is a girl who does not give up. She does not give up hope of a life without these monsters in it for herself and her family. Than finally due more to luck than anything Maddie catches one of the monsters. These things are so hard to kill they are virtually impossible to kill. The art does show them as creatures who are monstrous and they are relentless. They have no feelings for all they feel is hunger.
Maddie now has one creature trapped and she has a doctor to help her. Can they figure out how to kill the impossible. No one has on the planet, so this seems like an impossible task. Maddie though is a girl who does not give up.
The overall art is gorgeous in its presentation of this story that focuses as much on poor Maddie as on the monsters.
Monsters roam the land and Maddie is about to move in for the kill.
