Comments: A couple of kids find Erica sleeping or recuperating. The little girls have no idea who she is. The girls can hear and talk to Erica’s familiar.  An older girl Darla helps Erica as well.
This issue is a little different than others as there is no fighting and no monsters in it. Erica being found is not good for the girls finding her yet they get lucky in theyow nothing and see no monsters. So they can be left alive by House Slaughter.
Erica just hangs out with the girls and does the hair of one. Erica does not quite belong with these girls. Her stay is short.
This issue is a nice change of pace where Erica is just hanging out. Erica could have been one of these girls if her life had not gone the way it did.
Erica even not fighting monsters is easy to see she is one tough girl. Her being armed and having a familiar help to set her atmosphere. She is beautiful in how she is drawn yet the art also makes no mistake in showing you she is deadly. Erica Slaughter is a nice girl who happens to be in a not-nice line of work.
