The rain that pours down now is acidic and burns all plastics. So Jocelyn and Quigley, her talking and walking stuffed turtle toy, must go on a journey to continue surviving. Yes, this story definitely has some strange aspects.
There is a one-liner that will make you laugh out loud.
As Jocelyn and Quigley move on, they notice something in the rain. What is this mysterious creature? Whatever it is, it adds a frightening moment as Jocelyn and Quigley find themselves about to die.
The art is full of soft colors that add to the atmosphere of the story. The two main characters it is easy to see are survivors but not fighters. They will do what is necessary.
Jocelyn is such a lovely character that you will find yourself rooting for her right from the start.
Quigley, the stuffed turtle toy he is a mystery as well; are all stuffed animals alive in this world? It is weird not knowing which adds to his mystique.
This is the start of one adventure you do not want to miss.
