Comments: Drama at the Roller Derby. These girls train hard. Here we not only see them competing we look at their lives on and off the track. Roller Derby is a lot more than just skating around a track.
All the girls have their own unique personalities. Here the drama is so thick you can cut it with a knife.
The art portrays these skaters as normal people.
The story would have been better with more skate time. Looking at one team members actions that may cause her her place on the team is good but almost the whole issue is spent on it. We do see friendship here. Also hatred. A new girl being ignored which is wrong. All she wants is to be part of the team.
Cancan and Knockout are both wonderful characters and their friendship is great to see as this issue brings it out to the forefront.
