A group of circus folk are having some hard times, they are trying to earn a living. They decide to go to Sanctuary Glade which is a town for circus folk just like them.
Pavel the pig man is their leader. Loralye is the little girl that becomes a big monster. Vaddy is the fortune teller. Plus Copper and his girlfriend Bolty make up this group.
At Sanctuary Glade Miss Coralynn is there and she is a prophet to all the freaks. Pavel and Vaddy are welcomed by Miss Coralynn. Loralye gets a surprise from Miss Coralynn, actually several. Pavel, he gets a big surprise. A lot happens in a short time as dramatic reveals happen one after another. Loralye has big things planned for her. She may be a child yet the weight of the world is upon her shoulders.
Something is up with the way things are going you can just feel something is off about the people trying to help Loralye and Pavel. Pavel does get an offer that will be bad to refuse.
The circus folk faces off against people using magic to get what they want. They want Loralye. They manipulate Loralye into losing control and letting her monster out. The monstrous creature she becomes looks like a demon on steroids. You can easily tell she is an engine of death and destruction.
Loralye is a pawn being used to fight for others. She must learn to harness her powers to their fullest and use them to protect herself. This little girl is a fighter and her story is just starting here.
