Comments: “Welcome to North Force!” We get an introduction to North Force and the super-heroes who make it up. They are all in their secret identities hanging out in a bar while talking with Malcolm Dragon about joining their team.
The art and colors are both done plain. There is nothing that stands out about it.
The North Guard is made up of Blue Jay, The Knight, Grizzy, Armour, Raptor, The Flame, and The Canadian. The Canadian looks amazing just like Guardian of Alpha Flight. Blue Jay is drawn sexy you can definitely tell she is a she. The rest of the team is so so. Dragon is plain looking. The battle against the aliens does have some hard-hitting action.
Captain Tootsie joins in on the action.
This story ends in the middle of things.
“Bride of Wax” Part 1., written by Dave Kelly, from a story by Dave Kelly & Dean Haspiel, artwork by Brett Hobson, colored by Tom Napolitano and lettered by DC Hopkins.
All the characters in this story are super lame. Yes, it is a story about love but nothing else.
The Canadian is great everything else about this comic is not very good at all. The Canadian is a super-hero not only for Canada but for the world.
