Comments: Patra learns why she is still here after her death. Jeremy Jones is her unfinished business. Patra is trying to learn all she can from her dead sister and dog. There are lots of unanswered questions and lots of mysteries. Patra also learns she can still enjoy things and have some fun.
The use of red on Patra and Jeremy Jones is wonderfully done it lets you know these two are different from all the others. Patra with concentration can track Jeremy. She finds him in an out-of-the-way place that is abandoned. Patra gets ready to fight Jeremy and free the two young girls he has captive. Patra has to be brave.
Both Patra and Jeremy are terrifying figures of horror. Patra comes across as cute yet with a side you know is ready and willing to do whatever is necessary and Jeremy is an insane serial killer yet he seems to have a supernatural side too.
Patra with all that has happened to her still thinks about helping others. She may be dead but she still has hope.
