Comments: Philip and a couple other agents are attacked by the Aurora Dawn. Leading up to this the characters were just walking and talking but not really adding anything to the story. As they are attacked the bullets do fly.
Northguard does not like wearing the costume he thinks it is disrespectful. Then his boss the former Fleur De Lys has a talk with him. She is illustrated to inspire hope. He learns the colors if worn with pride are not disrespectful and that they represent him and his fight for what is right.
Northguard in costume is hardly used at all. The scene with Fleur De Lys though is worth it to pick up this comic.
The back-up story “The Obligatory Fight Scene” with words and picturs by Gabriel Morrissette, letters by Angelo Malartic and hues by Adam Martin. Northguard here is in the future and in a battle with two villains. The villains do not seem totally bad, just misguided. Northguard does come across as confident in his Uniband. He is a hero for sure.
