Comments: Here we have two men who are crazy and killers a dangerous combination. Bart and Maachi do enjoy what they do.
The book is written using a lot of words that you are unlikely to have ever heard before. Descriptive words that you might need a dictionary or google to know what exactly they mean.
Maachi is not just a killer this man is outright evil. What he does to his assistant is beyond believable. He does not care about anyone or anything except his pleasure.
Maachi and Bart are part of a business and they have increased their association with it so they get paid to kill and there is a lot more to it. The story goes on and on about it. The story does bog down in describing the business aspect of Maachi and Bart as it goes on and on about it with no reason for it.
The relationship between Bart and Maachi is weird, strange, and sick. Bart is the more sane of the two. Maachi is one sick, depraved man. He is also a control freak.
Bart decides to make a change in how things are run, yet the story does not play this up beforehand at all. It just happens with no reason behind it. There is no suspense or build-up.
The story goes in ways you might not expect it to and you left wondering why?
Two Marshals are introduced yet they have little to do with anything. They are not needed in the story. Other characters are introduced later on in the book and are not used much.
Maachi and Bart now their relationship is the best part about this book. These two and especially Maachi are insane. Bart is less so yet Maachi is all out bat shit insane. As you see the way they interact you will understand and accept it. Maachi you will be glad is just an imaginary character.
