Comments: “Chapter 1: Frightningale”
Clara Nightingale is a famous singer who is making a video. Clara wants fake Ladybug and Cat Noir’s in it but she ends up getting better than that. Marinette and Adrien do get cozy for their parts they get to pretend to be themselves. Chloe and her attitude interfere causing Hawk Moth to create Frightningale out of Clara Nightingale.
Now Ladybug and Cat Noir find themselves hard-pressed against Frightningale. Working together through works out so well.
The art needed to show off both Ladybug and Cat Noir as well as Frightningale better. There are no action poses. No battle poses where they are fighting.
It is nice to see Marinette and Adrien getting along so well. They are good friends and who knows maybe someday more. Marinette certainly hopes so she is shown as being so in love with him.
“Chapter 2: Troublemaker”
Jagged and his assistant Penny are featured here. He is all about Rock ‘N’ Roll music. Penny does get pushed too far. She has to much put on her.
Penny becomes Troublemaker and that is exactly what she does. Her costume is cute and wonderfully colored. This fight with Ladybug and Cat Noir lasts for a bit but it still needs better action poses.
Marinette and Adrien do flirt with each other yet both think of it as just being friends.
In this book, it is always time for Spots On, Claws Out!
