Comments: “Search Party” Written by Kyle Higgins, illustrated by Goni Montes and letters by Ed Dukeshire.
Tommy the Green Ranger is shown unsure of his place in life. Is he good or evil and is evil truly evil? Will Rita sway him to her side again? Rita may be right, the world might be better under her rule. Tommy does have something to think about here.
“Trini’s Vacation” Written by Tom Taylor, illustrated by Dan Mora and letters by Ed Dukeshire.
Trini Kwon is on vacation with her family in a very small town. Goldar arrives and the battle is on as Trini the Yellow Ranger must fight alone. Sometimes all it takes is one determined person to win a battle no matter how much bigger your opponent is. Trini has what it takes here to do it on her own.
“Forever Mighty Morphin Black” Written by & illustrated by Jamal Campbell and letters by Ed Dukeshire.
A planet needs help and a call is put out for all Black Power Rangers. The Crystal Cryptid they face is illustrated awesomely. The emotions are strong here. Zack gets a needed confidence boost. Zack here is so easy to identify with as we all get feelings of doubt.
“Perfect” Written by Trey Moore, illustrated by Frazer Irving and letters by Jim Campbell.
This is the origin story of Finster he builds her monsters. He also thinks of himself as an artist because he is one. Poor Finster pining for a lost love one he will never have again you will feel sorry for him. The art is soft and dark.
“Sabrina’s Day Out” Written by Caitlin Kittredge, illustrated by Da Jung Lee, colors by Sarah Stern and letters by Jim Campbell.
Two minions of Rita’s take a day off. They have fun not enough though to give up their evil ways. They are wonderfully illustrated as more normal here.
