Comments: “A Midsummer Night’s Scheme”
The Lumberjanes are decorating. April is drawn so cute in one panel as she makes a joke. April is drawn looking more grown up than she has been before.
Molly and Mal have a slight disagreement but make up. These two girls make a lovely couple. April and Ripley are brain storming how to decorate their cabin for a dance. Now as usually happens something strange starts to happen around camp.
The girls are having trouble getting ready for their party when they find faeries with the same trouble. Molly brings the Lumberjanes together April, Jo, Ripley and Mal they are the best and at their best when they are all on the same page. Molly makes the faeries see what is important as well. She just wants everyone to get along. Molly does is the star in this story and for a shy girl she does speak out.
There is also an intimate moment between Molly and Mal and their love comes through. Two young lovers so in love.
“A Pondering Mystery”
Ripley finds a cool place underwater. It is amazing. Simply illustrated yet done so well. The Lumberjanes always have so much fun. Sometimes it does not have to be fighting monsters or magical creatures it can just be something beautiful.
The Lumberjanes will steal your heart.
